Initially, "wondergram" is what I call the snapshots that I take from my iPhone. They are inspired by Instagram, and I like the idea of finding things that are wonderful in our day to day experience. The Wondergram blog is a collection of different things that mainly revolve around snapshots of my everyday, travel experiences, design, food and inspirations.
By profession, I teach Landscape Architecture in Malaysia. Currently, I'm in the process of completing my PhD in Melbourne. (<-- That was then, and Alhamdulillah, as of February 2012, I obtained the PhD). I started a blog during my stay in Melbourne as a way to document the bits of my life through photos and words. The blog grew from casual writing, to posts through photos and snapshots, which I have grown to love. Vibrant cities, street life and designs, as well as natural landscape fascinate me. I enjoy traveling (and doing most other things as well) with my husband, and most definitely having tea or coffee with warm company of families and friends. And in between these activities, I truly enjoy capturing snapshots of "wonders" that I could find.
I use Olympus Pen E-PL1 and have only started to play around with my Diana Mini lomo camera. On most days, my lens and filters come from iPhone3GS. (--> As of this December 2012, I've been wondergramming using iPhone5.)
To all, salam, hello and welcome to Wondergram!
* Note: By definition, 'wondergram' is actually a portable battery record player. But since I like the name so much, I've decided to give it a new definition by this blog and the snapshots in them ;)
